Meal plans: July 9 – 13

  1. Tuesday: Smoothie Bowls

  2. Wednesday: Homemade sushi

  3. Thursday: Pineapple Fried Rice

  4. Friday: Leftovers

  5. Saturday: Homemade Pizza

  6. Sunday: Fusilli Pasta

Monday, Tuesday and tonight (Thursday) went as planned but on Wednesday I finished my shift at Y2 and had to go get Daniel and Oliver from my Mom’s house in Matthews so dinner plans went out the window. I had to feed Oliver and his bed time was fast approaching so I called my favorite sushi place, New Zealand Café, to order takeout on the way home. I had sushi on my mind the whole day so I was having it for dinner one way or another. Why is it that a take out order can be made ready in 15 minutes but you can easily sit in the restaurant for 40 minutes before being served with your food?

The Pineapple Fried Rice I made to tonight for the first time in a while was sooooooo delicious. I’m not even sure we will have the leftovers because my next door neighbor had a baby 2 weeks ago and I’d like to take them a meal. This one was so good and I think they will really enjoy it. She said she was making Phad Thai the other night so I can’t go wrong delivering this with some of our No-bake Chocolate Lactation Cookies can I?

Pineapple Fried Rice – no time for a fancy photo at dinner time.

Have a great weekend everyone!
